Shalean Easter’s passion for filmmaking began at Roy Miller High School, where she helped with the high school’s daily newscasts and filmed the soccer games. As her passion for film grew, she sought to achieve a higher education at The Art Institute of Dallas. She graduated winter of 2017 (June 19, 2017), with her Bachelors Degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production.

 

     She has worked on numerous productions, taking the positions of editor, producer, writer, lighting director, but her strongest role was director of photography. Her most recent production, as director of photography was on “Playing With Dolls”.

     Shalean continues to grow in her craft and make a difference in the entertainment world with her unique perspective. She plans to travel and capture the unseen beauty of the world, through video production and photography.
